Optimizing Warcraft III

A. MAKE PAGING MEMORY BIGGER
1. Right click My Computer and click Properties, your screen will show you System Properties.
2. Choose Advance.



3. Choose Settings on Performance.
4. Than Choose Advance.
5. Choose Change on Virtual Memory.



6.Set your drive (where you save your Warcraft data, for example :C:\Program Files\Warcraft III\? that’s mean C drive orD:\Games\Warcraft III\? that’s mean D drive) with : Initial size 1536 MB and Maximum size 3072 MB as shown above. Of course you can do these depend on how much you have Free Space in your driver. If your free space not big enough you can’t do that.

7. Press OK, OK, OK.
8. Restart Windows (if asked)

B. MATCH WARCRAFT - DOTA RESOLUTION
1. Open Display Properties at Control Panel.
2. Choose Settings.



3. Remember your screen resolution, from picture above is 1024×768.
4. Choose Advanced
5. Choose Monitor
6. Make sure Refresh Rate is 60 Hertz or 75 Hertz (Warcraft do not support 85 Hertz)
7. Press Ok
8. Open Warcraft
9. Go to Videos Option
10. Match the Resolution



11. Press Ok
12. Finish

Now you can go to Windows faster while you playing DotA without disturbing other player.
